We will be matching this and sending a donation of $200.00 to CaringBridge next week from The club and us through Margaret's website. Neil and LaRae Wakefield |

On Thursday, October 29, 2009, Kris Leshovsky, Sheryl Slyter and Gini Liveley delivered dictionaries to the third graders at Gardner Elementary. We went to each of their classrooms so we could give the books directly to each student. They were wonderful. Each one really liked having their name in the book. We asked them to carry the dictionary with them as they crossed the stage when they received their diplomas. They all nodded "YES".
I have the presentation for 1/28/2010. My presenter will be Steve Devore of the Gardner Area Chamber of Commerce. I know many of you are Chamber members but this will give our Rotary Club members an opportunity to have an update on what is happening with the Chamber, and new Rotary Members to gain new information. Thanks, Linda Rogers

If you all remember, during the Relay for Life kickoff there was a speaker that was asked to speak about surviving cancer. His name is Brent Bays. He’s a super good guy that devotes tons of time developing kids in sports and coaching them. And as you know good coaches not only coach the sport but coach good life skills as well.
